We had a great time Friday morning eating popcorn and playing bingo for bringing in Box Tops. Don't forget to save Box Tops. The next turn in date will not be until next fall but SAVE all you can. Please remind family and friends to save for you. This is FREE money for our school and it adds up quickly. It helps us buy school supplies and workbooks each year! We have been working hard on a piece of artwork for the H.A. silent auction from our class. Everyone painted parts of the cross and we added a Bible verse that we have learned this year.

It's precious and we TRULY hope someone will come along at the auction and will want to buy it.

Humphreys Academy's Silent & Live Auction will be this Saturday { March 27th } at the Humphreys County Country Club starting at 6:30.

Our Halloween Party was awesome and when you see these ladies- THANK THEM! They went above their duties as party moms for our class party. We had YUMMY food.. pizza, Halloween dip, witch juice(with eyeballs), Halloween cake and Halloween cookies!!

Pin the nose on the pumpkin, a witch pinata, mummy wraps.. and TONS and TONS of candy!!

The kid's had a wonderful time. Thank you Moms for making it a fun day!

We had DASH FOR CASH today for the top seller of the Sally Foster fundraiser in each class. Brett was the top seller so he got do dash...

I hope this video works- he only had a few seconds to grab as much money as he could. But, he did pretty good! He got $15.00.

The rain and mosquitos have kept the kids inside all week during recess time. We are so ready to be able to go outside and play.

Did you know how to play rock, paper and scissors in the first grade?

I sure didn't. Somehow a gun has been added to the mixture..

so I guess its Rock, Paper, Scissors and a Gun.

When I told them that I thought maybe a gun was not the best thing to add to the game they told me they were shooting the rocks, paper and scissors NOT people.

So, I had no arguement. What harm is to shoot some paper, rock or scissors in a make believe game?
